- 500 g extra firm or well-drained tofu
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- dash pepper
- some chili flakes
- egg replacer for 2 eggs
- oil for frying
- Fry onion and garlic in the pan.
- Combine all the ingredients except the oil in a large bowl with some seasoning and mix well.
- Heat both the oil in a frying pan.
- Cook 4-5 mins until golden, flip the pattie and cook the other side. Do this in batches, keeping finished patties warm in a low oven.
